1.Why are reusable bottles a good idea?

Reusable bottles help the environment. Plastic bottles taken a really long time to break down in landfills, and the plastic in most water bottles can be toxic and can leach into your beverage.

3.How did you come up with the criteria for your test?

We sat down for a few days and tried to decide what was important about a long lasting water bottle. After our long list of over 30 points was created, we then asked our friends (and some strangers) what they thought the most important considerations should be regarding a reusable water bottle. That is how the final list was created.

4.Which water bottle do we use?

We here at waterbottlesreviewed.com have so many bottles laying around, they we often interchange them. We all have our opinions, but Sigg bottles (stainless) and Good Life bottles are generally the top 2 favorites in our office.

5.Is stainless steel or aluminum better?

We prefer stainless steel, because there is no liner required. All of the bottles that we reviewed use food grade 304-18/8 stainless steel, which is extremely safe and durable material.

6.How should I clean my bottle?

The dishwasher is a great choice if you buy a dishwasher safe bottle. We don’t recommend putting the cap (lid) in the dishwasher thought (regardless of whether it is supposedly dishwasher safe) because it could shrink the cap and modify the way is fits your bottle. Just use soap and water when you hand wash your lid.
